“Nice hotel in Lourdes”
We found a wonderful and convenient hotel to stay while in Lourdes. It is a short walking distance to the grotto of Our Lady. There are a lot of cafes and stores outside of the hotel.
The service is excellent. We arrived late at night from the grotto and the bar served us non-alcoholic drinks with a smile on the face. As we were about to leave for the train station, the procession passed in front of the hotel so the taxi cannot come in to get us. The front desk instructed the taxi where to park in order for us to get to the taxi and catch our train.

“Great historic type hotel”
Only great things to say about this hotel. Valerie at front desk - wonderful, Eric - dining room made our dining experience fun and exciting.
Location very good. Easy walk to the Grotto area.
Rooms very well appointed. Extra bed was already in room and made up on our arrival. Still adequate space in room. Bathroom well appointed. Very nice linens.
Dining room very good. Breakfast great choice of foods. Prices reasonable.
Highly recommend for visit to Lourdes.

“A fantastic place to stay that you would find hard to better.”
This hotel hits all the buttons, I do not think I have enjoyed my stay anywhere as much, from the beautiful French food to the impeccable service we received I would have no hesitation in staying again and again, great!!!

“I Shall Return”
The hotel reminds me of a boutique hotel, not too large. The service was great especially at the reception. I had dinner one night at the hotel and the food was good. At breakfast I would be happier if the coffee were a little stronger. My only complaint is the lift which takes time to arrive. I would stay at this hotel again if I went to Lourdes again. Hopefully next year.
“Five days and nights, I could have stayed forever”
My terrace view was part of the shrine grounds facing a small park and parking lot. I could hear the prayers during the 9PM Rosary procession and see the procession as it made its way around the grounds. Food was quite good; house wine, not so much, but they DO have a "reserve" wine and your server will be glad to give it to you at dinner. Room was kept impeccably clean, plumber arrived when toilet developed a problem (housekeeper discovered it), fixed immediately.
Perfect location: across from right side of Hotel Moderne (which isn't so great), within easy walking distance of shrine, cafe right in the building for meals or a wonderful cafe au lait. I was so very happy there. I am a solo traveler, this is my third trip to Lourdes. I highly recommend this hotel. I have stayed in hotels all over Europe in the past two years and this was one of the best. Not pretentious, doesn't need to be. Great staff, wonderful hotel.

  • “Excellent location”
  • “very good location.”
  • “The location is ideal, within walking distance of the major sites and sights. Very convenient for attending the evening candlelight procession which ends around 10.30 pm, otherwise be pleasantly surprised that it can be viewed from certain room balconies. Staff very pleasant and helpful, lounge and bar areas attractively furnished and inviting, room adequately if not generously sized, bathroom spacious and very clean. All told, a place to which we would not hesitate to return.”
  • “The efficiency of the reception and that of the restaurant staff.”
  • “The hotel was full of gorgeous French furniture, I had a lovely view of the garden and the bar terrace from my room. Despite being on a busy road, my room was quiet and peaceful. The staff were amazing, friendly, professional and very helpful with lots of advice and even a pair of scissors when I needed them. Brilliant location, once you know the way, it is walkable to the station in about 20 minutes. As a lone female traveller, I was nervous of my first solo trip. I need not have worried . the location was convenient and safe and the staff could not do enough to make me feel comfortable and welcome.”

Wonderful authentic hotel close to everything!
The staff was wonderful and so friendly! The location was close to everything such as the Grotto of Lourdes, cafés, and souvenir shops. The hotel is older and beautiful. Wood paneling and antiques everywhere. We had two balconies off of our room with a view of a park area. It doesn't hurt that the town of Lourdes is beautiful, too! So, if modern accommodations are your preference then this is not your hotel.
However, if you like the idea of experiencing authentic French decor, then this is your place. The bathrooms are older and outdated but were clean and quite spacious by European expectations. (…) Our stay was quite enjoyable and the staff gladly stored our luggage on the last day. We would definitely recommend!

Very good hotel
Very clean, very courteous service, great location for visiting the sanctuaries.

Nice hotel close to basilica and Grotto
The wohle experience was fabulous, the hotels location amazing all the restaurents near by only 2-3 min walks. I would reccommend it to everyone.

Outstanding staff
Always wanting to help and please.  Very friendly. Best location and easy access to everything.  Very European hotel.
